REPORTING STRAY OR NUISANCE ANIMALS

uMngeni Municipality provides a large animal pound service to help to enforce by laws around large animals (cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses).

You can report incidents to the pound master: 082 908 4131 or by calling the uMngeni Municipal control room: 0800 000 124

For better response please include:
- a picture of the animals
- a pin location

Please note
This does not apply to ritual or cultural slaughtering. In these cases you can contact the District Health services or the SPCA.

The Pound Master covers the N3 route. When you call advise location in as much detail as possible.
