Singakwenza is excited to be one of the founding charities of this NEW event!

The Oceans 8 Charity Swim is exclusively for charity and h as been started to provide a reliable and sustainable flow of funding to de serving non-profits with a footprint in KwaZulu-Natal, to support their wor k and allow them to continue to engage in and deliver on projects which hav e an impact and influence on education, environment, community development and upliftment for those most in need.

The inaugural Oceans 8 Charity Swim will be held on the 17th and 18th June 2022 at the Durban Undersea Cl ub. The 5 founding charities will have up to 30 swimmers each, swimming 8 M iles (4 x 1-mile swims per day) and raising funds for their causes. The cha rities are:
• DUCT
• NSRI
• Project Rhino
• Singakwenza
• WILDOCEANS, a programme of the WILDTRUST

There is also a 1 Mi le swim available, with all donations collected from these 1 Mile swimmers split equally between the 10 invitational charities for this year.
