Grace College pupil, Jack Perrett (Gr 11), went on a short term Rotary Exchange to Quelianes Saint Gault in France in the December holidays. He was hosted by the Royer family, whose son Emilien, was on exchange in South Africa in August 2012. Jack attended the Laval School in Pays de la Loire for three weeks. He particularly enjoyed meeting exchange students from all over the world, with whom special bonds were formed.
Other highlights include skiing, visiting the Louvre Museum and the Eiffel Tower as well as spending time on a foie gras farm, where duck liver pate is produced.
Jack had a great experience as a Rotary Exchange student and counts himself very blessed to have been afforded this opportunity.
