Subsequent to the St Anne's College Choir receiving a GOLD, as well as the awards for the Best Prescribed Work, Best Girls' Choir and the Best Choir Overall in the Non-Afrikaans Mother Tongue Category, at the ATKV Applous National Choir Competition, held recently in the ZK Matthews Auditorium at UNISA in Pretoria, the St Anne's College Vocal Ensemble, Orchestra, Jazz Band and Marimba Band each went on to receive GOLD (A+) in their respective categories at the SASMT 25th Music Eisteddfod, held recently in Pietermaritzburg.
