“MUVUMBI” is an eclectic mix of exotic and indigenous plants, sunlit borders and a woodland area. Roses are an important feature of the garden. This Open Midlands Garden can be viewed on 24 and 25 October 2015. There will be a tea garden.To make your way to the garden from Crossways Hotel (now Old Main Brewery) in Hilton, (corner of Dennis Shepstone Drive and Old Howick Road) travel 1 km down Old Howick Road in the direction of Pietermaritzburg and turn right into Arlington Crescent. The house is the fourth on the left, at the corner of Sedgeley Place and Arlington Crescent.
From Pietermaritzburg, travel up the Old Howick Road in the direction of Hilton. Pass World’s View Road and Arlington Crescent is the next turning on the left. (The complex “Chaseford” is about 20 metres before Arlington Crescent on the right side of Old Howick Road.)
