We played the first league matches of the year on Saturday and reaped a mixed bag of results. The men in the second league went down to Umgeni Waterfall, managing to collect only 0,5 of a point. The third league men faired much better, winning 9 to 4 against Howick. The ladies finished 10 – 10 against Maritzburg, but lost the match due to a smaller total number of shots.
Thelma Mylne and Margie Garrard won their section in the first round of the NIBA Women’s Open Pairs and are through to next week’s play-offs. Your club is proud of you and we wish you good bowling on Sunday.
