Grace College Past Pupil, Richard Taylor, has just been awarded the degree of Master of Science in Fisheries Science, with distinction, at Rhodes University. Richard was able to put his passion for agriculture and the environment to good use for his research project. He investigated the use of treated brewery effluent as a water and nutrient source in crop irrigation. Richard’s external examiner from the USA said his work has great implications for agriculture and environmental restoration in arid and semi-arid environments throughout the world. He is now starting his PhD in the same field. Grace College is proud of Richard’s achievements and wishes him all the very best for his PhD.Pictured: Richard Taylor at his recent Graduation Ceremony
