How Can You Help The Care Bear Project?

 

- Join our Facebook page for regular updates and photographs of our achievements, and please share our posts to create awareness of the project.

- A donation of R80 gives one of our community knitters an income for a day, and you will make one little child very happy when he / she receives the bear

 

- A donation of R400 sponsors a complete knitting kit, which provides our community knitter with an income for a week, and 6 happy children with bears

 

- Become a Bear Buddy by sponsoring one of our knitters, committing to a monthly donation of R400 or R800, knowing that you are guaranteeing them an income for the month producing their beautiful bears

 

- Should you have a crèche, school, orphanage or other institution that you already support, you provide the sponsorship and we will provide the number of bears you require, knowing that each bear has been handkitted by one of our community ladies and that you have assisted with creating employment for these ladies

 

- Should you have a community you would like to support with employment and income, you provide the sponsorship and we will assist by training the ladies to knit and establishing the group. All our knitters are required to have a South Africa ID and a valid bank account. You can then either nominate the organisations which will receive the bears, or we will distribute these on your behalf.

 

- Any donations can be made via our bank account
