19h00 Vernon Allwood
A former local schoolteacher, Vernon is a folk music aficionado and plays guitar, mouth organ and flute, and will be using the first two of those instruments, along with his voice on this, his first visit to the MiTH stage.

Inspired by beautiful music, especially Mali Zulu's music, as well as Robert Glasper, Snacky Puppy, Lira, Afro Traction and others. T Christian has played for Nosihe Zulu, Malibongwe Zulu, Soulfullsound and several more. He started singing when he was 11 and just fell in love with the way it made him feel. He is a song writter and has performed at the Maritzburg Jazz festival, Sprytz, weddings, business functions, hotels and parties. We look forward to hearing him solo for the first time at MiTH
20h00 Not fat, just fluffy
Not fat, just fluffy is a band born and bred in Durban. It came to be on the eve of the 13th of February 2015. The band has lost and gained members along the way, and has gone by a several names, including ‘Your Mom’, ‘Don’t Jazz on my Tash’, ‘Naimless Hobros’ and many more. They finally settled on 'Not fat, just fluffy" because they are in fact not fat and arguably fluffy. When it comes to genre we have many different sounds and cater to a variety of tastes, but generally we just go with anything that sounds good. The band played at a few open mics around Durban, some with our full band and others just doing some cool acoustic numbers. Their aim is to have fun while sharing their music. We can't argue with that!
21h00 Whipland Marsh
This 3-piece alternative rock band was formed just a month ago with members of Apparently Jak joining Khalil Mansura (vocalist) trying to create a melodic harder rock sound, without being metal. Influences are: Linkin park, Foo Fighters, Seether, Prime circle and Stone Sour. Members include Khalil Mansura - lead vocals and guitar, James Mellon - drums and Dustin Mason - bass and backing vocals.
