Skeet van Zuydam, a Grade One pupil at Laddsworth Primary School took part in the PSG Absolute Motion 10km MTB race at Hilton College on Saturday 19 May 2018.
Kendra Tongue, a Grade 5 pupil at Laddsworth Primary School, was part of the Umgungundlovu District team to take part in the regional competition which was held on Saturday, 12 May 2018 in Durban.
Grace College is proud to be educating five members of the prestigious KZN Midlands Youth Choir and today in assembly two of these students, both in matric, received Honours for their dedication and success in Choir. Megan Pluke, who is both our Head Girl and the KZN Midlands Youth Choir Head Girl, and Rebecca Webster were presented with white blazers, a privilege reserved for students who attain Honours. Toni Hemming (Gr12) and Munashe Makondo (Gr10) earned Full Colours while Cole Baker (Gr9) received a Junior Colours Re-Award. This entire group were part of the choir which achieved a category win and three silver medals at the International Choir Festival in Wales earlier this year. Hear them sing at Grace College on Thursday, 24 May.

Laddsworth Primary School pupils took part in the KwaZulu-Natal Gymnastics qualifying competition on Saturday 19 May 2018 in Pietermaritzburg.
Tarryn Plaatjes in Grade 12 at Grace College started ballet while still at pre-primary. In Grade 6 she was introduced to Spanish dancing and has been doing Spanish dancing for 6 years. This year Tarryn seized the opportunity to travel to Spain to attend courses and workshops with Flamenco professionals.

Laddsworth Pupils have been selected to represent the Umgungundlovu District hockey teams.
They will take part in an Inter District Trials Festival on 19 and 20 May at Hilton College, where the KZN Inland teams will be chosen.

On Monday, 14 May, a Grade 11 student from Grace College in Hilton, Anna Dahlgren, earned the title of Midlands Chess League Champion at a tournament hosted by Maritzburg College. Here she is congratulated by the convenor, Mr Van Niekerk.
