There will be 10 holes set up for the players and the game is played in complete darkness with LED fairway markers that light up the fairways and LED Flag poles that light up the flags. Bunkers and other Hazards will also be illuminated.
Each player in the 4 ball will also be able to choose his/her own colour LED ball to play with and they will be able to choose from Pink, Red, Blue and Green.
For once it seems almost impossible to lose a ball on the course as the balls glow extremely bright! Balls will also be for sale at the event.

Margaret Meek, a loyal and enthusiastic member of our club since August 2000, passed away on Saturday morning after a long and painful battle with cancer. We extend to her family in the UK and to her special friends Tom, Olga and Joan our sincere sympathy.
Three girls from Laddsworth Primary School, Ella Oosthuizen, Mia du Preez and Carla Hounsell received gold medals and certificates for their participation in the March competition held by Elite Rhythmic Gymnastics.

St Anne's students ended the first term on a high note with a wonderful, happy, musical celebration that left the girls feeling rejuvenated after a long and at times tiring, first term.
The Grace College School Production, "Our Town" by Thornton Wilder, was showcased on 23 & 24 March and what a delightful play that was! The play is about more than depicting mere life in the little town of New Hampshire in the early 1900s - it is about appreciating life and people as we live it. The director, Mrs Pauline Cronje, the pianist, Mrs Hackland, the cast as well as the stage hands, sound and lighting crew have to be commended for a brilliant production. To all the staff and parents who helped with the finer details - thank you!
Last week Laddsworth Primary School participated in two Fun Maths Evenings. The first event saw 10 Grade 5 mathematicians participate at Cowan House on the 17th March. Two of our pupils finished in top places; Ross Lowe placed first with his team mate from St. Nicholas and Stephen Lock came third with his partner from Athlone Primary.
Jenny Ireland, a Grade 3 teacher at Laddsworth Primary School, competed in the Master's National Swimming Championships in Johannesburg from the 11th to 15th March. Jenny earned six Gold medals for 200m and 400m Individual medley, 100m Butterfly, 100m and 200m Breaststroke and 800m Freestyle. Her swim in the relay won her a silver medal. These efforts resulted in Jenny once again being awarded her South African colours for the 14th time!
Georgia Lupton-Smith and Katekile Dakile were two of the 15 promising young speakers selected to represent the Pietermaritzburg League at the KZN Schools' Debating Association Inter-League Tournament held at Hillcrest High School on Sunday 22 March. The competition was tough and both girls gained valuable experience and exposure through the tournament.
Laddsworth Primary School children had great fun in the sun on Friday the 27th March when the entrepreneurial Grade 7 pupils set up a variety of games and stalls for the whole school to enjoy. Activities included a jumping castle, a foaming water slide, pony rides, many games and the popular Zorb ball, which competed only with smashing a wrecked car in drawing the longest queues.
Laddsworth Primary School children collect strips of marshmallow eggs for Siyabonga Education Centre every year which Pat Kanzler gratefully collects to take to the children. These children will enjoy receiving an egg this year when they spend some time with Pat doing Easter crafts at the centre.
These pre matric dinner photographs were taken by Erika Whitby, the cost is R1500 for the shoot. This is for a maximum of five girls or boys and thereafter an extra R200 is charged per teenager. They will each receive a CD with the photos from which they can print.

On the 18th March Laddsworth Primary School welcomed 70 prospective parents to their school. Gavin Lambooy the Headmaster welcomed all and gave a presentation on the well-rounded academic, sport and cultural pursuits which this school offers. Neelan Pillay, the Senior Primary HOD shared more about the senior phase experience and Sally Kelly HOD for the Junior Primary focused her talk on the Grade 1 to 3 years.
On the 14th and 15th March Josephine Clewlow and Chelsea Kilian competed in the 2nd SANESA qualifier held at Shongweni Club.
